Energy arbitrage shifts cheap solar-hour energy into the
evening peak (valued at the tariff delta). Demand reduction has the
battery discharge through outlier demand spikes, so billed contract
demand is set by the sustained load, not the spike. Depreciation is the
25.17% tax shield on accelerated 15% WDV depreciation of battery CAPEX.
